Tips for New Teams
Storm System wants to pass on our 4 years of FLL experience to any new teams out there.
Prepping for Competition
- Make sure your meetings are about more than just the robot game. It is easy to get wrapped up in the game, but remember to work on your project, core values, and design, as well.
- Don't get discouraged. It takes a lot of work to get ready for a FLL competition. Sometimes, when it feels like you are getting no where, you really are making progress.
- Remember to be positive. Treat your teammates with respect, even when meetings get rough.
- When you are researching for the project, be sure to keep good records and document, document, document - write down all your sources.
- In the middle of the all the busyness of getting ready for competition, don't forget to HAVE FUN!
